These Terms form an agreement between you and Individual Entrepreneur Valerii A. Nikitin, the operator of Asker. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the licensed iOS app; these Terms govern the Asker service and community.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18, legally able to enter this agreement and permitted to use dating services where you live. You may not use Asker if your account was previously removed for safety violations unless we expressly allow it.
2. Your account
Provide accurate information, keep authentication credentials secure and use one account for yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell Support promptly about suspected unauthorized access. You can stop using Asker or permanently delete the account in Profile settings.
3. Community conduct
You must follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, do not impersonate anyone, harass or threaten people, exploit minors, post illegal or non-consensual sexual content, solicit money, run scams, spam, scrape the service, bypass safeguards or interfere with other members. Dating preferences are not permission to demean protected groups.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of photos, questions, answers and messages you create. You grant Asker a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, display and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate and improve the service. The license ends when content is deleted, except for restricted backups, legal preservation and content already lawfully shared with another member.
You confirm that you have the rights and consent needed for what you upload. We may screen, restrict or remove content and accounts that violate these Terms, the Guidelines, law or safety requirements. We cannot guarantee that every violation will be detected.
5. Purchases and Q
Payments are processed by Apple under App Store terms. Q is a consumable digital unit for eligible in-app features such as Super Answers and temporary boosts. Q has no cash value, is not property, cannot be transferred or redeemed for money and may not be available after account deletion. Except where law or Apple policy requires otherwise, completed consumable purchases are final. Contact Support if a verified Apple transaction was not credited.
6. Privacy and location
Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. Location permission is optional and is used to suggest a city; a city can be selected manually.
7. Suspension, termination and service changes
We may warn, limit, suspend or terminate access to protect people, investigate reports, enforce these Terms or comply with law. Serious violations can result in immediate removal. Features may change, pause or end as the product develops. We will use reasonable care but do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular number of profiles, answers or matches.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Asker helps adults discover and communicate with other members. We do not conduct comprehensive identity, background or criminal-record checks and do not guarantee another member’s identity, statements, intentions or compatibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Changes and applicable law
We may update these Terms for legal, safety or product reasons. Material changes will be communicated and apply prospectively. Mandatory consumer protections and the law that cannot be excluded in your country continue to apply.
